Fostering Healthy Group Dynamics

You may have heard of the stages of group dynamics: forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning. In this session, we elaborate on recommendations to establish a model for group travel experiences that invites optimal academic and personal growth outcomes by utilizing mental health-informed best practices before, during, and after travel. We'll offer practical examples and tools on protecting against unhelpful disruption to the group; fostering healthy disruption of individuals' typical routines; and facilitating individual, interpersonal, and reflective learning.

This session is a 60-minute session meant for global education professionals.
